CONTACT LENSES

Contact lenses may be ordered with a valid prescription written for contact lenses. An eyeglass prescription is not valid for contact lenses. All orders processed will match the exact contacts that your doctor prescribes. No substitutions are allowed under the law. Note: Contact lens prescriptions expire on the date expressed by the prescribing doctor or a maximum of 2 years from the date of the exam. Expired prescriptions will not be honored. We will call you should there be a question with your prescription.

You may email your prescription to info@a1aoptics.com. When we have verified your prescription as valid and payment is verified, we will order the contact lenses for you. The cut off time for us to process orders for next day delivery is 3:00pm. We will receive the contacts the following day. Contacts ordered the previous day before 3:00pm will be available for pickup in our office after 12:00pm, provided the contacts have reached us. We are not responsible for orders delayed in shipping. Friday orders will be processed on the following Monday and available for pickup on Tuesday. We will call you after the contacts arrive and we have verified the prescription.

While it is rare, sometimes contacts may be on back order due to stock levels at the manufacturer’s warehouse. They will be available as soon as the back order is filled. The availability of the contacts may vary based on the delay from the manufacturer.

Orders may be shipped to your home. Allow 7 – 10 days for delivery. Shipping charges apply to all orders that are shipped.

How to order contacts

Note: Contact lens prescriptions expire on the date expressed by the prescribing doctor or a maximum
of 2 years from the date of the exam. We cannot fill an expired prescription. We will call you should there be a question concerning your prescription.

You may send us your prescription by email, or you may stop in with a copy of your prescription to place your order.
If you are emailing us your prescription: Check the dates on your prescription. The Doctor may have written an expiration date on the prescription.

Once we have verified your prescription, we will order the quantity of lenses that you wish to order. We can ship the lenses to you, or you may pick them up in the office. If you are picking up your lenses from our office, you may pay a deposit of 50% at the time of your order, the balance will be paid when you pick up your contacts.

We require full payment when we ship lenses to you. Please allow 7 to 10 days for delivery. Shipping Charge: $8.00 – $10.00
